Incomplete Book

I was extremely disappointed with the book I ordered. I thought it was a great deal. It was a great deal, because one of the chapters was incomplete. Was it a discard book from the company? I can't sell it. Please check this seller's materials. Big mistake on my part!

I failed my first quiz.....

I rented this textbook from Amazon. I received it yesterday and began reading so that I could get started with my assignments. I noticed that chapter 1 was extremely short, like a page and a half. I thought, wow this was easy. I logged on to my schools website and began to take my first quiz over what I had read. I immediately got upset after reading through the first 3 or 4 questions, thinking why would my Professor purposely put questions on the quiz that are not in the chapter? As I am scrambling trying to find the answers, I noticed that the book I received starts on page 5. This is why my chapter 1 was so short!! Where are my first 4 pages? This is unacceptable!!!

I currently hold a 3.8 overall GPA. This is extremely embarrassing for me! Who inspects these books when they are returned to Amazon? I AM NOT HAPPY!!!!

Charlotte has lived in her aunt and uncle’s house since her mother died. She is treated as a poor relation. She was being courted by Edward and, one night, went too far with him. He asked to marry her, but her uncle refused. Later, it is found out that they spent the night together and she is now a fallen woman. Her aunt finds her a position as a governess and sends her away. I just couldn't understand why her uncle wouldn't allow Edward to marry her!

Now, she is a nanny to the children of Simon, Lord Herleston. All Simon can think of is bedding her. He tells her right off that he wants her as his mistress. He eventually starts a campaign to get her in his bed. He eventually gets her in his bed by coercion. She does not really agree, she is just resigned as she believes he will dismiss her as governess if she does not agree.

I had a hard time with this book. This is about a young girl being taken advantage of by both her aunt and uncle and her employer. Eventually, there is a HEA, but the route there is not the greatest. I give this 3 stars.

Wonderful Love Story by Viola Morne

What a marvelous book this was. This was a page turner that kept me going until I had finished. I won't give anything away but there were twists and turns that I didn't see until later. There were strong feelings and emotions of the characters that tugged at my heart. There was mystery, danger, elements of BDSM, spanking, romance, hot sex and most of all love.

Shannon Green is an Orton-Gillingham (OG) Trainer for the Canadian Academy of Therapeutic Tutors (CATT) in British Columbia (BC), Canada and the OG trainer for the Centre for Child Evaluation and Training (CCET) in Kuwait. These books were readily available in our veterinary anatomy laboratory. The images provided a very clear description of various structures, and also provided a way in which this information is clinically relevant. Definitely a book to keep on the shelf during clinical year rotations.
